Baptist Oi Kwan Social Service (BOKSS) was founded by Hong Kong Baptist University under the commission of the Baptist convention of Hong Kong in 1978, and came into service in 1982. BOKSS Jordan Family Support Networking Team provides outreaching and networking as well as timely intervention services to vulnerable families in Jordan. They also provide support in day care and rehabilitation to elderly.

Description
  • Promote and introduce community resources to families in need through workshops, outdoor exhibition and  door to door visiting
  • Design and execute a Chinese course for South Asian families/ children
  • Support the tutorial class for children 
  • Support the day care service for the frail elderly
  • Assist in the application of emergency funding for the families in need

Full time: 1 July - 31 August 2021 (Monday, Wednesday to Friday: 10am - 6pm; Tuesday: 12nn - 8pm; Saturday: 9am - 1pm)

Requirements

Description
  • Passionate in serving vulnerable families
  • A good team player, proactive, outgoing and willing to get in touch with different people
  • Willing to engage people from different age group and diverse ethnic
  • Proficiency in computer skills 
  • Good in Chinese, English and Mandarin is a plus
