The Schools Challenge 2020 – Live Smart@Kowloon East
Co-organized by: Junior Achievement Hong Kong (JAHK) and J.P. Morgan
Supported by: Energizing Kowloon East Office (EKEO) and HKUST Connect
The Schools Challenge – Live Smart@Kowloon East is a STEM-focused social innovation program for junior secondary students. The program aims to broaden students’ interest and learning of various STEM disciplines, and encouraging them to co-create innovative solutions that helps transform Kowloon East into a pioneer smart city in Hong Kong.
Throughout the 4-month program, HKUST student volunteers, together with J.P. Morgan business volunteers, will mentor and support teams of 4-6 students on project development and presentation. Learn more about the program at: www.jahk.org/courses/the-schools-challenge/
Roles & Requirements of Design Thinking Ambassador
- Work together with J.P. Morgan business volunteers to support and mentor secondary students in STEM projects
- Being trained about the design thinking approach, and guide the team in applying the design thinking approach on their project
- Provide guidance to your team on ideation and innovative solution development
- Bilingual in Cantonese and English
- All students with Engineering/ Science/ Technology background are welcome!
