The service engaged volunteers to guide visually impaired individuals over the age of 40 on a tour of the HKUST campus, creating a unique opportunity for both volunteers and participants.
During the tour, volunteers and participants took part in various activities, including blindfolded object identification, arts and crafts, and sharing sessions. These activities enabled visually impaired individuals to learn about university life, while volunteers gained a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with visual impairments and developed empathy towards them.
