Playright Game Day 智樂遊戲日
Playright Children's Play Association has been promoting the importance and power of play to unlock children's potential and enhance their personal growth. In response to the pressing need to provide adequate inclusive play resources throughout the community the association organizes game activities in different places including schools and hospitals. HKUST volunteers were recruited to facilitate the children’s participation in the game sessions and assist in the venue setup and cleaning.

從來沒有想過玩樂對兒童來說是那麼重要，由其是香港的孩童。想起他們在平時忙碌的學業及興趣班中連一點玩耍的時間都沒有。而現在終於有機會讓他們玩樂，享受作為孩子的基本權利。而我更發現這不只是玩耍，更是從中學習及發展。學習與人溝通、發展創意。

幼稚園的小朋友會很直率表達喜歡及不喜歡。流汗、弄髒手，小朋友不會在乎，因為他們玩得很開心。反而是家長們十分著緊，當聽到家長們不斷"提醒"小朋友不要做這樣、那樣，要這樣玩那樣畫，有時會覺得難受，其實小孩子們有能力自己從嘗試中學習的。當我告訴小朋友能夠在畫巾上畫什麼都可以，那怕是亂畫一通，我也能感受到他們十分享受那刻的自由自在。很想讓其他朋友、家長也有機會體驗一下像今日一樣，能讓小朋友"話事"的遊戲日。相比起"教"/"告訴"小孩遊戲規則，我見識到小朋友的創意是何等豐富。或許我也要嘗試一下像他們一樣直率，不只依別人告訴我的規則做事，可能會有新的發現。
