The HKFWS Family Resource Centre started a program in 2014 that aims to provide support and services to children from divorced families. This program, which is facilitated by "big brothers and sisters" volunteers who have gone through parental divorce themselves, offers monthly gatherings where children can receive encouragement and positivity to help them cope with the significant changes brought about by divorce.
The program is now open to current students or graduates from tertiary education institutes who have experienced parental divorce and are interested in serving children. Participants are encouraged to share their personal experiences in order to support children facing adversity and provide hope for overcoming difficulties and adapting to changes.
