Summer Science Tutorial 夏日升Grade全靠「理」

Due to the pandemic situation in Hong Kong, most schools have been switching their teaching mode between face-to-face and online continuously, which may be hard to adapt to. To help the secondary school students alleviate the impact of COVID on their learning, HKUST Connect is cooperating with Project WeCan, an initiative providing students who are disadvantaged in learning with opportunities and care to empower them to pursue a higher study. We are now recruiting HKUST volunteer tutors to teach Science subjects for Form 5 secondary school local or ethnic minority students from HKTA The Yuen Yuen Institute No.3 Secondary School with Mathematics (in English); Physics, Chemistry and Biology (in Chinese). 

在過去兩年本港中學只能斷斷續續地上實體課，學習模式不停的轉變可能令學生感到焦慮及難以適應。因此，科大侍學行現招募科大同學為「學校起動計劃」下的其中一間中學──香港道教聯合會圓玄第三中學的中五學生，包括部份少數族裔生進行實體義補，教授高中學生數理科目，包括以英文應試的數學科，及以中文應試的物理、化學及生物。而義補會以英文應試和中文應試的學生分開教授。希望協助減輕新冠肺炎疫情對他們學習的影響。
