Social media has become a part of our daily life. Have you ever thought about using social media to make changes in the society?  Do you want to manifest your ideas but do not know how to start? Is a comment or a repost more powerful? Mr Law Wing Chung, an expert of making a splash on social media platforms, will provide you insights on what you need to know about driving influence on the most popular social media platforms. Join us to learn the tips!

Law Wing Chung

Managing Partner and Co-founder of Jervois One (Hong Kong)

Law Wing Chung was an award-winning journalist who has served in the Hong Kong news media for over 12 years. He joined the government in 2012 and took the position of the Political Assistant to the Financial Secretary. He resigned in 2016 and assisted Mr John Tsang to run for the Hong Kong Chief Executive in the 2017 election.

Mr Law received a bachelor degree of laws and a master degree of journalism from the University of Hong Kong. He was also a visiting journalist fellow to the Reuters Institute of Journalism of Oxford University.

Mr Law is the founder of Breeze Consulting Ltd and Jervois One (Hong Kong) Limited in 2017. Both companies provide various services including PR consulting, social media content, news media and stakeholder engagement advice.

Remarks:

  1. Priority will be given to HKUST Connect registrants (Start your changemaking journey with HKUST Connect: https://connect.ust.hk/joinus)
  2. To avoid interruption and hindering the progress of session, instructors may not admit new participants who are late for more than 15 minutes.
  3. Participants who are away from the session for 15 minutes or more may not be able to attain the HLTH1010 course hours

* Complete 3 GUTS workshops to get a certificate of participation.

HLTH1010 Course Hours:

HLTH1010 course hours application in progress. Upon complete attendance of the workshop, participants may attain a maximum of 1 hours in "Wellness & Personal Enrichment Events" in the "Activities" module.
