Food Saving with Food Angel 「惜食」天使
UN Sustainable Development Goals
Volunteers will help prepare nutritious hot meals in the Food Angel Kitchen with the surplus food collected from the food industry and distribute them to the underprivileged communities in Hong Kong.
「惜食堂」以停止浪費、解決飢餓為宗旨，致力向本地飲食界回收仍可安全食用之剩食，通過嚴格的食物安檢程序，送交機構中央廚房烹煮成營養均衡的飯盒，送贈予社區基層兒童、長者及智障人士享用。機構現招募同學協助處理食材及準備飯餐，從源頭減少食物浪費，解決飢餓。

Description
Upon completion of the service, HLTH1010 course participants will attain a maximum of 2.5 hours in "Community or Voluntary Work" in the "Activities" module, subject to the actual direct service hours confirmed by the partner organization(s).
