The HKUST seafront has become the perfect place for students to gather, chill and even exercise. It is also the home to many marine and shore animals. However, as waves bring garbage to the shore, they  bring with them public health risks, not just pollution to the campus. The debris can also damage the marine ecosystems. Join us to clean up the beach and prevent the debris from being washed back into the sea. We are looking for volunteers to collect trash on the beach to restore our beautiful shoreline.

科大校園臨海而建，不少同學會走到海堤附近休憩、打卡、放鬆心情或做運動；對海岸生物而言，那兒是牠們的棲息地。然而，每天都有大量垃圾被沖至科大校園的沙灘及石灘上，破壞海岸生態及景觀。堆積的垃圾不單會滋生蚊蟲影響衛生，垃圾沖回海裏更嚴重危害海洋生態。現招募義工協助執拾沙灘上的垃圾，恢復海岸線的原貌，一起守護我們的環境。
