The Outstanding Service Awards for Tertiary Students ("Award") was introduced in 1991 to recognize tertiary students with outstanding leadership and significant contribution to the community. All full-time undergraduate students from CityU, HKBU, LU, CUHK, EdUHK, PolyU, HKUST, HKU, OUHK, HKSYU and HSUHK meeting the following requirements are eligible for the application.

The 2019/20 Award is now open for application. The award selection is co-organized by the Hong Kong Student Services Association and the Hong Kong Outstanding Tertiary Students’ Services Association.

Eligibility

Full-time UGC funded UG students with

proven record of leadership experience and organizational skills;
outstanding contribution in the provision of services to fellow students, schools/ tertiary institutions and/or the community;
active participation in extra-curricular activities;
satisfactory performance in public examinations and current academic studies.

Remark: Previous awardees and incoming exchange students are not eligible to apply.

Submit the completed Application Form (with supporting documents) to HKOTSSA's email at info.hkotssa@gmail.com.

Interview
28-29 March 2020 (Sat-Sun) (Interview details to be announced to respective applicants)

Remarks

HKUST Connect could help generate record of the community services you have completed during your university years with HKUST Connect. Contact the office for details.
Selected candidates are required to attend an Experimental Session on 18 April, HKOTSSA Servathon on 19 April, and community service project to be held in May-June.
Upon completion of the above activities, selected candidates will receive the Award at the Award Presentation Ceremony in October.
