According to the WWF report, the fashion industry generates 2.1 billion of waste annually, posing a huge burden on our planet. In order to promote and educate the students about fashion sustainability, WWF - HK’s solar mobile café will be hosted at HKUST. Upon completion of surveys about environmentally-responsible consumption, students will receive free coffee and a reusable coffee mug. We are now recruiting volunteers to assist in the event: Post A (set up and promotion): 10:30am - 2pm Post B (promotion and clean up): 1:30 - 5pm
根據世界自然基金會的調查報告，每年時裝業產生高達21億公噸固體廢物，成為地球沉重負擔。為了向公眾教育持續時裝的概念及重要性，世界自然基金會香港分會的太陽能流動咖啡車將駛進科大校園，宣傳持續時裝的概念及重要性，更會邀請同學進行一個簡短的問卷調查，完成問卷者將獲贈咖啡和環保杯一個。機構現招募義工於下列時段協助推行活動： 時段1 (10:30am – 2pm, 準備及宣傳) 時段2 (1:30 – 5pm , 宣傳及清理)
